Tiger Woods: Once and for All

"Ok, Im about to speak about the Tiger Woods situation once and for all."

People need to remember why Tiger's in the news in the first place. If he couldnt golf worth a dang but was an excellent family man, would he even be in the news? Do amateur golfers look up to him because he's a nice guy or a great golfer? Did Nike sign him to a 100M contract because he values his marriage and he has a great smile, or because he's the greatest golfer who ever lived???

Im still trying to find that one human being who's never made a mistake in his life. Pick an athletic super-icon and i bet you I can dig some dirt up on them. Name anybody you know and ask yourself has person ever made a huge mistake in their life. Matter of fact, since society is so judgemental, ask YOURSELF if you've ever made a huge mistake. So since you now realized that you've messed up in your life before, like every other human being in the world, why are we being so critical of Tiger? "Oh , he's a roll model, he needs to be mindful of that" ...BS.

Tiger didnt become a golfer to be a role model, he became a golfer for the love of the sport. If there are careless and ineffective parents out there who are not involved enough in their childrens lives to be more of a role model than ANY super-athlete out there, then thats a parental issue, not an issue with the lifestyle of the athlete. All of these companies dropping endorsements with Tiger are solely looking out for the company's long term interest in fear, but not using common logic, and that is that everyone makes stupid mistakes. So if they got out of the boardroom for 1 day, took a look in the mirror & understood human nature, they'd understand that PEOPLE ARE NOT GOING TO STOP BUYING NIKE , ACCENTURE, BUICK, ETC, PRODUCTS JUST BECAUSE TIGER CHEATED ON HIS WIFE. Corporate execs and our critical society need to..get a clue.

THAT IS ALL.
